World Cup Day at Holy Family - Friday 26th June
On Friday 26th June Holy Family students will join in the World Cup fever and cheer on the Socceroos as they compete with Paraguay.
Students are encouraged to wear Green and Gold to cheer on Australia and there will be a variety of class-based activities during the game.
Morning Supervision Routines at Holy Family
A reminder for parents that teachers are not on duty until 8:10am each morning.
Students who arrive early are to sit quietly outside the office and wait for the teacher on duty. Recently we have had a large amount of students arriving as early as 7:45am. This is a safety concern as the children are not supervised. If you need your child to arrive at school earlier than 8:10am then please contact Ryan about the Before School Service.
Green Team Update
Another busy week or the Green Team. Thanks to our Return and Earn money, we were able to purchase some beautiful St Brigid Roses. These roses will make a beautiful garden around the statue of St Francis in the garden along Highfields Rd. Thank you as always to Mr Mitsui who helped us on Wednesday.
We have an abundance of mint in the roundabout that is free for all Holy Family. This is not a purchase you will ever need to make at Coles!

- Closing Time of Morning Gates
A reminder to parents about school morning routines.
A supervising teacher will take the students to the under croft at 8:10am. We ask that no students be on site before this time unless previously organised.
The teacher on driveway duty and/or admin staff will close all gates between 8:40am and 8:45am. All students are expected to be on site by this time.
The gates must be closed by this time due to safety protocols.
If you arrive after this time the driveway system is no longer in operation and you must park your car and walk your child to the school office via the gate on Highfield Road. Admin staff will assist you in organising a late note for your child and this lateness will be recorded on Compass. Students who are consistently late miss vital morning literacy instruction and can feel unsettled throughout the day.
If you need any support in getting your child to school on time, please email your child's classroom teacher or myself.
Have a lovely weekend
Kind Regards
Sam Edwards
Assistant Principal
