Todd Woodbridge Cup at Inverell
On Friday, eleven of our Stage 3 students travelled to Inverell to participate in the Todd Woodbridge Cup Tennis Tournament, bringing home an impressive third-place finish overall.
This was the first time our school has entered a team into this event. Well done to Airlee, Benji, Flo, Hannah, Isaac, Lucy, Penny, Phoebe, Rebee, Shaun, and Will for representing our school. Our team had a great day all around as they played across a range of matches.
Thank you to the parents who assisted with transporting the team to and from Inverell, making our participation in this event possible. Hopefully, we will be able to enter more teams in this competition next year.
Polding Athletics Carnival at Glendale
We extend our best wishes to Audrey, Benji, Josie, Rebee and Thibaud as they prepare to represent the Armidale Diocese in their individual competitions at the Polding Athletics Carnival on Friday, September 11th, in Glendale, Newcastle. Wishing them the best of luck!
Armidale Catholic Schools Football/Netball Gala Day
This year, St Patrick's is excited to enter both football and netball teams in the Sports Gala Day, held in Inverell on Friday, September 18. Over the coming weeks, students in Years 3–6 will practise their skills during designated PE lessons, recess, and lunchtime. Our official team squads will be announced shortly.
The school has arranged bus transportation for all participating students. Please consent in Compass.

St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook
St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook, which has recently been updated following our school swimming carnival. Additionally, the handbook has now been revised to include the new records set by Josie, Lucy, Phoebe and Thibaud at our recent athletics carnival. This book is designed to give all members of our school community a clearer understanding of when our various sporting carnivals are conducted. It also outlines the processes and qualifying times required for students wishing to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events, alongside an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child can undertake in their respective sports.
