We’ve finished off a fabulous year in Food Tech by making our very own gingerbread! Students mixed the dough, rolled it out, and used gingerbread-person cutters to make their biscuits. The following week, everyone had fun decorating them. Some students made traditional gingerbread people, while others turned theirs into reindeer.

 

This week, we celebrated with spider drinks! Students chose either raspberry or passionfruit soft drink, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yum!

 

Congratulations to Grade 6 students Sophia and Ananya on receiving the Food Tech Awards for 2025 at graduation on Monday. You have both worked so well in Food Tech and should be very proud. We wish you all the best for secondary school next year.

 

We have thoroughly enjoyed running the Food Tech program and can’t wait until 2026!
