Principal's Report

Billycart Race
We had a jam packed, almost collision free billycart race today! Lots of fun, running, sweating, swerving and then driver changes and repeat……the eventual winners were: TOP GUN…..drivers – Eden, Obi, Logan and Alessio.
Thanks to all the parents and helpers that came along in the afternoons to support our students' building project.
School Leaders
These past few months we have been working through a selection process for our 2026 school captains.
I have been nothing short of amazed at the calibre of students who applied for the role. LPS is so lucky to have so many students with the character and capabilities to carry out the role; this made the decision so much harder.
Our 2026 captains are: Kiriana, Miah, Blake and Jett
These students will be presented formally at an assembly in February next year.
We will continue the recently added ‘Principal Advisory Group’. This group will be made up of 13 students. They will meet with me twice a term throughout the year to discuss a range of topics and provide feedback to the school leadership team.
Principal Advisory Group:

Evie
Maddison
Lilijana

And our 4 school captains: Jett, Blake, Miah and Kiriana.
All students who participated in the process should be congratulated.
