School Captains' Report

This past fortnight at CGPS, we have contributed to national and our own school wide events in lots of different ways. 

In Week 5, sixty students from our school in years 3-6 went to District Cross Country to compete against other schools. The students loved the opportunity to represent our school in running. "It was a very fun experience and the schools were extremely nice and inclusive. Everyone tried their best and we all had a good time" said Xinzi Chen, one of the competitors. Three of our students, Xinzi Chen , Remi Sanchez and Thea Teo made it to Division. Well done to everyone who ran and represented our school!

From the 27th of May to the 3rd of June we learned all about Reconciliation Week - the time to remember the Stolen Generations and the way we stole the land from the Indigenous peoples who had lived on the land for thousands of years. 

We continued celebrating our beloved principal Tina on the 30th of May by dressing up in her favourite things such as Harry Potter, Star Wars and silly accessories. We all had a really good time, and enjoyed the appearance of a few special guests at our assembly. Thank you to everyone who contributed!
