Hello MPS Community,

I hope you are all keeping warm and dry as we officially enter the season of Markuru - and what a welcome she has given us..⛈️

Firstly, I'd like to start with a massive thank-you to the volunteers that kept the canteen going last Friday while I was away on leave. Mardia, Hollie, Alison and Sue. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to serve the community. It was no small feat and I and the students deeply appreciate what you did.🌻

An updated menu is currently being produced and is set to be released sometime in the next fortnight. In the meantime, here is a copy of our 'current' menu. Some things to note:

 - Our sushi supplier had to increase their prices this year, which meant we did too. Sushi is now $7.00. Please kindly remember that if your child would like to order sushi on Thursday, their orders need to be placed before 9.30am on Thursday.

- 2 Minute Noodles have been removed from the menu as they do not currently meet the WA health standards for canteens.

- Hard-boiled eggs have been added to the menu for $1.50

- For fruit, we currently only have apples and apple slinkys. 

Dryandra Primary School will be coming back to play on our grounds on the 20th of June. If you can, please come along and cheer on our students 🎉

I'll keep the canteen open with some yummy baked goods for sale, as well as drinks, desserts and some quick and easy hot food too. 

For the students participating in the final day long, Winter Carnival event (27th of June); I will be sending out order forms for a lunch pack to be delivered to them on the day. These forms should be given to your child in the coming week. A notice on Dojo will be made when they've been handed out.
