Principal's Message
Mr Adam Beilken
Dear Parents, Caregivers, and School Community,
As the term progresses, our school continues to thrive with vibrant learning, meaningful connections, and shared successes. Swimming lessons have been completed just in time for the cold and wet weather that has recently arrived. I look forward to getting into classrooms over the next few weeks to see the fantastic learning that is taking place.
2026 Enrolments
School enrolments for kindergarten placements in 2026 are now open. If you or someone you know have a child that was that turns 4 before 30 June 2026, please come into the office and get an enrolment pack.
Children in kindergarten that are currently enrolled at Marangaroo will receive enrolment packs at the end of this term for enrolment in Pre-Primary in 2026.
Morning Arrival
A reminder as we approach the end of the term that if children arrive at school before 8.30am, they need to sit on the benches outside of Administration. Children have the option of attending Breakfast Club run by our Chaplain, Grahame Walker, on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. They also have the option of attending running club hosted by Mr Lee on Wednesday – Friday. If Mr Lee is unwell, children will be asked to sit outside of Admin.
Staff Car Park
Recently the staff carpark was resurfaced. It has had temporary line markings in place, and we are awaiting some fine weather for the permanent marking to occur. To ensure that the carpark adheres to Australian Standards, there have been some slight redesigns. The most important is that instead of having 2 separate ACROD parking bays, they have been joined together and have been separated by a bollard. The new bays have not been officially marked yet but they are located on the western side of the carpark closest to Giralt Road, and are the 2 bays nearest the school. Please do not park in these bays unless you have an ACROD permit displayed in your car. There have been incidents this term where people with ACROD parking permits have been unable to use these bays as they have been occupied by cars without permits.
Crossing Giralt Road
If you are crossing from the western side of Giralt Road to the school, please make use of the Cross Walk Attendant. He is there to ensure safe crossing across the busy road. Please wait for his whistle blow confirming that it is safe before crossing the road.
