First Nations Aboriginal Incursion

As part of our celebrations for Reconciliation Week, on Thursday 29th May students across the school took part in a wonderful learning opportunity with First Nations Incursions. Students learnt about Aboriginal culture through painting, story telling and music and got to take a home a special boomerang keepsake that they painted.

Our students who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander were also given the opportunity to work closely with the First Nations team to develop a canvas that tells their story, which will be displayed in the school.
