Art is away for term 2 

We began Term 2 in the Art room by drawing inspiration from Anzac Day. As a whole school, we worked together to create a meaningful display for our Anzac Day service, recognising the sacrifices and service of others.

Our Prep to Year 2 students explored printmaking techniques to create beautiful red poppy artworks. Using pool noodles and leaves collected from the garden, students experimented with texture and shape to produce their prints. We hope you enjoyed the smaller version they brought home this week.

Students in Years 3–6 created accordion-fold artworks featuring a moving optical illusion. These creative pieces combine design and visual trickery, and will be coming home next week.
