Science

Look! Listen!
In this unit, students explore how we use our senses—especially sight and hearing—to understand the world around us. Through hands-on investigations, they learn how light helps us see and how sound is made and travels.
Students will observe, experiment, and describe what they notice, developing their scientific thinking and vocabulary. They will also make connections to everyday life, such as how we see objects in different lighting and how sounds can change depending on distance or materials.
This unit encourages curiosity, questioning, and careful observation, helping students build a strong foundation in science.
