Equestrian

The Victorian Interschool Championships held during the holidays proved to be an exciting and successful event for our Equestrian team. Congratulations, Georgia, Finley, Charlie, Rachel, Adelaide, Lyla and William, for representing our school with remarkable resilience, skill, and sportsmanship.

Rain and unpredictable conditions made for a demanding environment, but our students rose to the occasion, supporting one another and maintaining a positive attitude. It was fantastic to see their hard work in training reflected in their performances. Their experience and dedication were evident, and they should be very proud of their efforts.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all the parents and families who supported the team. Your encouragement, time, and assistance played a vital role in making this experience possible for our riders.

Overall, the championships were a valuable and rewarding experience for everyone involved. We congratulate all riders on their achievements and look forward to building on this success in future competitions.

• Lyla Woolston has qualified for the National Championships later this year, which is an incredible achievement. Congratulations!

   

• William Farquharson, who placed fifth overall, had a wonderful achievement at his first state championships.

   

• Georgia Adams who was placed third in her Showjumping section, a fantastic result for her final year at school!

Weekly lessons will commence next week. I look forward to seeing you all.

REMINDER: Please do not use stones to chock float tyres, as they are sometimes left in the grass and can cause significant damage if mown over! Please use yellow plastic wheel chocks instead.
