This afternoon, the Junior School held its 2026 ANZAC Service. I thank the Year 6 students for their contributions, and our wonderful Chamber Singers who performed Advance Australia Fair and the Māori and English verses of God Defend New Zealand. The focus for this years’ Service was the legacy left by the 30 Collegians who did not return from war. They upheld our current College values and most certainly left the College blazer in a better place. It is important we continue to honour their sacrifice.
All Junior School students are welcome to march in the Hamilton ANZAC Day Service on Saturday. Students attending must be in full winter uniform, with ties and blazers.
It is with great anticipation that we look forward to the Junior School’s production of Disney’s ‘Dare to Dream’. We will perform two evening shows in early Term Four, on Thursday 15 October and Friday 16 October. Both performances will commence at 6.00 pm. ‘Dare to Dream’ has a running time of approximately 65 minutes. A dress rehearsal will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday, 14 October.
House Cross Country will be held next Wednesday, 29 April, at Parklands Golf Club (on North Boundary Road). The event commences at 9.15 am. Students will run in age groups and complete the following distances:
