Caritas

A big thank you to our families and friends for your generous donations during our 40 days of Lent, led by our Mary MacKillop leaders. Together, we raised $674, and your generosity will help provide access to clean water, nutritious food, emergency aid and climate-resilient livelihoods for those in need.

With the sun shining, students enjoyed icy poles today while raising money for a great cause.

Art Competition winners

Winners have been announced for the Sacred Heart 125 Years Art Competition. Thank you to all students for the many entries and beautiful artwork. The artworks are now proudly displayed in the foyer. 

Congratulations to our winners:

3rd – Xander (4L), 

with special mentions to Hugo (4CN), Isabella (6K) and Lyla (3A). 

The artwork captured the heart of Sacred Heart - community, love, belonging, joy and history - expressed through creativity, individuality and imagination.

Holy week presentations

As we celebrated Holy Week, our students reverently brought the story of Jesus to life each day through their presentations, led with care and guidance by their teachers. Together, as a whole school community, joined by families and friends, we gathered in reflection, prayer and faith. 

For Catholics, this sacred time reminds us of the deep love of Jesus and the hope we find through His sacrifice. 

Today, our Year 3/4 students joyfully reminded us of the promise of the Resurrection as we prepare to celebrate Easter Sunday.

As we celebrate the joy of Easter, I wish all our families a blessed and holy Easter season. May the risen Christ fill your hearts with hope, peace and love.
