Wednesday 6th May from 9:00am-11:30am
Children will be able to purchase gifts from $1 to $10.
Please do not send children with more than $10
Kelly Chandler (Rebecca 5T) will be needing some helpers on the day.
A reminder that children are expected to be in full school uniform on days that they do not have PE lessons. In regards to shoes, other than for PE lesson days, children need to be wearing black school shoes. We do permit all black runners if they are of good quality and support the child's foot appropriately as part of the school uniform as we recognise that some brands will meet this criteria and look more like a runner than traditional school shoe.
Some examples of what would be acceptable as a school shoe are shown below:

Other more traditional school shoes are also appropriate.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school office or speak to a member of the leadership team.
WINTER UNIFORM

A reminder also that children should be in winter uniform for the start of Term 2. Our school uniform can be purchased from PSW. Our Sacred Heart beanies are a wonderful addition to the school uniform list and are very popular as the days get cooler. They are the only beanies that children are permitted to wear to school.

Final Reminder – Teeth On Wheels Visit
Teeth On Wheels will be visiting our School for dental check-ups starting on April 30th 2026.
We understand that dental visits can feel intimidating for children, which is why Teeth On Wheels makes oral health education both fun and engaging. When children enjoy their experience with the dentist, it sets a foundation for positive oral health habits that last a lifetime. Fun, hands-on activities help children develop good habits like regular brushing, flossing, and understanding the importance of healthy teeth. This enjoyable approach not only reduces fear but empowers children to take ownership of their oral health. By creating a positive experience at an early age, we are setting the stage for healthier smiles and stronger habits throughout their life.
To ensure your child is part of this visit, please complete the consent form by clicking the link below:
Complete the consent form HERE!
The cut-off date for completing your child’s form is April 23rd 2026.
For any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the Teeth On Wheels team at (03) 9338 1191.

Enrolments are now open for students beginning Prep in 2027 at Sacred Heart Primary School for both new and current families.

For the safety of our students and families, can you all please take extra care when driving around school and surrounding streets. There have been a lot of "near misses" on our pedestrian crossing, narrowingly missing Robyn our Lollipop lady and students.
Please also pay attention to the "No Standing", "No Parking" and permit zones. Council and the Police are patrolling and have fined several families for not adhering to the signs and restrictions. Immediately out the front of school is strictly "Pick Up/Drop Off" Zone. Cars cannot be left unattended by the driver.
Also please respect our neighbors by not parking over their driveways.
Your support and cooperation in managing traffic flow around our school is much appreciated.
