Tickets for this year's Christmas Raffle have been sent home with the oldest in the family. If you haven't received your and/or would like additional tickets sent home, please contact the office and we will provide a sheet. Tickets will also be available at the concert.
This year's raffle is being ran by the JSC, supported by our P&F group.
We would like to thank the P&F for doing the leg walk and collecting donations for the raffle.
As the year comes to an end, I would like to take the opportunity to thank our students, families and staff for another wonderful year at Beaufort Primary School. We have a lot that we can celebrate and reflect on about the 2023 school year and I want to congratulate all students on everything they have achieved, socially, emotionally and academically.
Next Tuesday, our Year 6's will head off to the Secondary College and we will welcome our 2024 Prep students as part of the Statewide Transition process. Students in all other year levels will meet their year level teachers for the 2024 school year. On this day, students will work in various groups so staff can establish combinations that will work for all students. Class lists will be developed after transition day, and students will meet their 2024 teacher on Tuesday 19th December.
Our class structure for the 2024 school year is:
Please note, as a principal, I do not accept teacher requests. I believe all my teachers have the ability to meet the needs of all students.
At the end of the year, we will be farewelling 2 of our staff members, and I am happy to say that they have both gained employment at other schools. Mr Watts will be heading back to Ballarat, whilst Miss Sully will be heading to a Melbourne based school. We thank both these staff members for all they have done for our students.
With 2 weeks left of school for 2024, students are regularly practising their concert items, completing off tasks and preparing for the end of year. School reports are currently being written and these will be uploaded to XUNO on Monday 18th December. If you would like a hard copy report printed, please inform the office to have your name included on the list.
Our school concert and awards night will be held on Wednesday 13th December. This event will be held at the Town Hall, starting at 6.00pm. Please ensure all students arrive around 5.45pm so we can get them seated with their class.
I look forward to seeing all the "Crazy Hair" styles, this Friday, for the JSC fundraiser. Information in JSC News page.
Given this is our official final newsletter for the year, I want to with all our wonderful families a happy and safe Christmas, New Year and Summer holiday period. I hope you all get to spend quality time with your friends and family, and find some time to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
