Djaaliny Event Series 

In support of our commitment to A Nurturing and Connected Community, we are proud to offer many opportunities for families to engage with the life of our College. The Djaaliny Event Series is one of the ways we bring our wider community together for meaningful conversations. 

With the generous support of the College Foundation, we host a range of events featuring respected guest speakers who share valuable insights into issues affecting education, parenting and family life today. We are especially pleased to welcome back leading drug and alcohol educator, Paul Dillon, on Thursday 3 September. His sessions for parents will explore adolescent risk-taking and practical ways parents can help keep their children safe. 

These events give our families the opportunity to engage with important and relevant issues, while also equipping them to support their children through the challenges that can arise during adolescence. I encourage you to explore the upcoming guest speakers and warmly invite you to join us for what promises to be an engaging and valuable series. 

Learning Opportunities at ASC 

One of the great strengths of All Saints' College is the breadth of learning opportunities available to our students, both in the classroom and through our cocurricular program. 

In recent days, our Year 3 students returned to Dyoondalup (Point Walter) to celebrate their learning journey as part of the River School program, while our Year 11 Politics and Law students completed a successful excursion to Canberra. We wish our Robotics Team every success as they compete in the Robotics State Championships at Murdoch University this Saturday. Later this week, students from Years 3 to 12 will take part in the Junior and Senior Schools’ Interhouse Athletics Carnivals, which are always highlights on the College calendar. 

All Saints' is committed to the holistic development of each young person, supporting their academic, social, emotional, spiritual and physical growth. By offering a wide range of experiences both within and beyond the classroom, we aim to ensure every student can pursue their interests, discover their strengths and thrive. 

Enrolment Planning for 2027 

As we begin planning for 2027, I ask families to notify the College if they are aware that they will not be returning next year. We currently have a significant waitlist across most year levels, and early notification allows our Admissions Team to process withdrawals and offer places to families who are waiting for an opportunity to join our community. 

I also take this opportunity to remind families that one term's notice is required when withdrawing from the College. Where less than one term's notice is provided, a term's fees may be charged in lieu. If your circumstances have changed and you know your family will not be returning in 2027, please contact Angela Vordermeier - Head of Admissions or call 9313 9333. 

Spring is in the Air! 

This time of year is always one of my favourites. As winter gives way to spring, the days grow longer, the weather begins to warm, and there is a renewed sense of energy across the College. 

For many in our community, this also means finals season is just around the corner, and no doubt many households will be following their favourite team closely. Go Freo! Many of our students will also be preparing for winter sport finals, and I wish all of them the very best for this exciting and rewarding time.
