Celebrating First Eucharist

Last Sunday was a very special occasion in the life of our school and parish community as a number of our Year 4 students received the Sacrament of First Eucharist. It was wonderful to see the students participate with such reverence and joy as they received Holy Communion for the first time. This important milestone marks a significant step in their faith journey and we congratulate each of the candidates and thank their families, teachers and parish community for supporting them throughout their preparation.

This Sunday, the Church celebrates The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi). This feast invites us to reflect on the gift of the Eucharist and the special way Jesus remains present with us through Holy Communion. Following last week's celebration of First Eucharist, Corpus Christi provides a wonderful opportunity for our newly initiated students and their families to continue reflecting on the significance of this sacrament in their faith lives. We warmly encourage families to join the parish community as we celebrate this important feast and give thanks for the gift of the Eucharist, which nourishes and strengthens us in our daily lives.
