I’d like to extend a sincere “THANK YOU” to every one of you who came and supported ourrecent Art Show.

It was so incredibly rewarding to see our students proudly walking around - pointing out theirartwork, smiling as they shared their creative talents, talking about what they had beenrequired to do and, in some cases, even sharing information about the artist they wereinspired by.It was a real celebration of our year’s work thus far and once again I feel extremely fortunateto have this opportunity to work with the students in the art room each week.It was, of course, a whole team effort and I would also like to acknowledge the Leadershipteam and all staff for their contributions towards the final preparations and their supportthroughout the year. I would also like to make mention of the 2025, Grade 6 Art Leaders –Audrey, Eloise, Isabella and Ivy for the role they played this year as well.

Please feel free to view the link below that shows some of the ‘behind the scenes’ across theyear - a look at the art room in all its rawness!

In the coming weeks students will be bringing their artwork home in their portfolios. (Some of their sculptural pieces have already been returned.) This work can then remain at home however the portfolios will need to be returned to school, emptied.

It is vital that they are sent back to school as soon as possible so as I can prepare them accordingly for next year’s class groupings.

The Grade 6 students do not need to return these (unless they wish to donate theirfolder).

Thank you again for your continued support,

Mrs. Ivana Dabb

Art Teacher/Specialist Leader
