Festival of Music 2026 – Exciting Opportunities for Year 5 and 6 Students!

The South Australian Festival of Music is a wonderful opportunity for students in Years 5 and 6 to be part of something truly special. Each year, hundreds of students from across the state come together to sing, play, perform and host at the Festival’s concerts in the Adelaide Festival Theatre.

Students can audition to join the SAPPS Choir, the Orchestra, the Troupe of dancers and performers, or even apply to be a Host on stage. These experiences build confidence, teamwork and a love of the performing arts.

At Lockleys North Primary School, we are proud of our recent Festival achievements – Anushree Diwanji and Zoe Tear shone as soloists, Jonas Mychalyn impressed as a host, and our talented drummers Steele McLean, Avielle Windows, Hudson Stokes and Isaac Mowles brought amazing energy to the stage!

Parents are encouraged to speak with classroom teachers or Mrs Chesterman (Choir Teacher) to learn how their child can get involved in Festival of Music 2026. It’s an experience they’ll never forget!
