International Day of Women and Girls in Science
International Day of Women and Girls in Science
On the 11 February, Wyndham College celebrated the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
This Day is a reminder that women and girls play a critical role in science and technology and that their participation should be acknowledged and strengthened.
Girls studying Science subjects were privileged to be addressed by two highly motivated female scientists, Alex Boyd and Bridget Murphy from ANSTO. They encouraged our girls to continue with their passion for science and reinforced the message that Science is for Everyone!
Wyndham College is proud to have an increased number of girls choosing to study a science subject.
Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate this day with the students at morning tea.
