Team Vic Trials
Last term a select number of students in 5/6 participated in the Team Vic Trials in Netball, Basketball, AFL, Soccer and Cricket. The Team Vic Trials provides a development platform for Victoria emerging student athletes to participate in the annual School Sport Australia Championships. All schools from Victoria attend a number of trials to get to the Championships.
Sacred Heart is very proud of all students for having a go and even attending the first trial is a fantastic achievement.
Congratulations and well done to these students.

Cross Country
Wow! What a fantastic morning down at Cussen Park for Cross Country. The sun was shining and there was plenty of encouragement and support for all runners.
A huge thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped marshal the course.
Thank you also to Goulburn Valley Water for sponsoring the event with a hydration station and drink bottles.
Well done to all grade level placegetters who received a ribbon at assembly.
Students in 3-6 who have qualified for Division Cross Country, we wish you all the best.
Frayne was the overall house winner on 124 points.
A special shout out to the students who received a ‘Good Sports’ ribbon and prize at assembly for being their best on the day and putting in a super effort.
Jujitsu Achievement
Congratulations to Ged and Audrey who have been competing in some Jujitsu competitions recently. This martial art requires lots of strength, dedication, and training.
Both Audrey and Ged have been training hard and recently achieved a bronze medal in their division at a competition in Melbourne. The both competed in the Gi and no-Gi category where you can and can’t grip clothing.
Well done Ged and Audrey!
