Leaving A Legacy

YEAR 12
Leaving A Legacy

Head of Year 12
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all students who participated in this year’s College Musical. Your dedication, enthusiasm and commitment to rehearsals and performances contributed to a truly wonderful production.
It was a joy to see our students showcase their talents, teamwork and confidence on stage. The College community is incredibly proud of their efforts and grateful to the staff, families, students and supporters who helped make the event such a success.
As the graduating Class of 2026 move towards this important milestone, Tuesday afternoon Sport lessons will include a variety activities designed to support students through this transition and celebrate their final weeks at the College.
These activities are designed to encourage participation, foster positive connections with peers and provide opportunities for students to create lasting memories as they prepare for graduation.
2027 TAFE Queensland Scholarships are now open. Scholarships of up to $5,000 are available to eligible students commencing a new qualification in Semester 1, 2027.
If you plan to attend university, TAFE or undertake an apprenticeship or vocational training after school, the Charlie Bell Scholarship could be an opportunity for you.
The scholarship provides one-off grants of up to $5,000 to help young people affected by serious illness or injury pursue their education and career goals. Applications are open from 1 August to 30 November each year.

For Year 12 students, College fees and levies are issued over three terms rather than four. Payment for Term 3 fees and levies were due by Monday 10 August 2026.
In accordance with the 2026 College Fees & Levies Schedule, all school fees must be paid in full or be covered by an approved payment plan with the College.
Please note the following information from the 2026 College Fees and Levies Schedule regarding attendance at the Year 12 Celebration Dinner:
Impact of Non-payment of College Fees
Account holders not meeting the payment terms specified as a condition of enrolment, and without an approved payment plan in place, may find that invitations cannot be extended for their child to participate in extracurricular activities such as sporting trips or the Year 12 Celebration Dinner. To avoid this situation, it is crucial that account holders speak with us to make approved payment arrangements if the current 14 day terms are unachievable.
If you have any concerns with making payment for your fees or require assistance in setting up a payment plan, please do not hesitate to contact the Accounts Team on 4044 4200 or via email at smw.accounts@cns.catholic.edu.au.
Thank you,
Accounts Team
