Year 1 Phonics
Year 1 Number Sense
Year 2 Number Sense
Screener assessments are short 1-1 assessments conducted by the classroom teacher. They assess only for that point in time. They are used by the school to identify students who may need intervention or extension in Mathematics and English. Results of these screeners are not usually communicated to parents as they form one small part of the overall assessment that teachers do daily in their course of work.
Casual Teachers have been employed to release the Year 1 and 2 teachers to complete these screeners by the due date. We always attempt to employ casual teachers that are known to the students and well aware of our students and school.
If you would like more information, please see communication from CSBB.

City2Surf – Two Years in a Row!
For the second year in a row, Harvey completed the 14km City2Surf from Sydney to Bondi Beach!
At not quite eight years old, it was a big challenge. There were plenty of hills and some very tired legs along the way, but Harvey kept going and was thrilled to cross the finish line and collect his medal again. He is already talking about coming back for number three next year! Maybe we’ll see a few more Holy Family runners joining him in 2027!
Basketball Milestone for Lauryn
