Year 10 - OELLEN Career Expo 2026

The OELLEN Career Expo provides students with valuable opportunities to connect with career, education, training, and employment pathways. This fully funded event allows students to explore the many possibilities available for their future studies and career aspirations, helping them make informed decisions about their next steps beyond school.

Date: Tuesday 26th May 2026

Location: Caribbean Gardens

What happens on the day?

• On the day, students will arrive at school in their full school uniform. Students will get their role marked by their period 1 teacher and will be told when to go up to their allocated bus.

Understanding the excursion:

Q: Where is the event being held?

A: Caribbean Gardens – 1280 Ferntree Gully Road, Scoresby.

Q: What are the session times?

A: The expo runs from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Schools are scheduled in 2-hour blocks.

Q: What should students bring?

A: Comfortable shoes, water bottle, and money if they wish to purchase food from food trucks. Students can also bring their own snacks or lunch.

Q: Are there food options available?

A: Yes. A range of food trucks will be on-site offering meals, snacks, and drinks for purchase. There is also a designated seating area for school groups. Staff are welcome to purchase food as well.

Q: Is the event accessible?

A: Yes, the venue is fully accessible. Please advise us of any specific access needs in advance.
