Welcome to Edition 2

Welcome to the second edition of our Middle School Bulletin for this term. It has been fantastic to see students continuing to settle into their learning routines and working towards positive outcomes both inside and outside the classroom. As a Middle School Team, we are striving for success and encouraging every student to be the best version of themselves each day. This means challenging themselves to do their personal best, demonstrating resilience when learning becomes difficult, and taking pride in their achievements and growth.
A major focus for our team this term is strengthening our school expectations around engagement and participation. We are encouraging students to actively involve themselves in all aspects of school life by attending classes on time, contributing positively to classroom discussions, completing learning tasks, and participating in activities and opportunities provided by the school. When students are engaged in their learning and participate consistently, they build confidence, develop important life skills, and give themselves the best opportunity for success.
We are also continuing to support students in building positive learning habits, respectful relationships, and responsibility for their own learning. We appreciate the ongoing support from families and carers in reinforcing these expectations at home. By working together, we can help all students feel supported, motivated, and capable of achieving their goals throughout the term.
The Year 9 and 10 Team:
Reminders!
Rubbish in the yard:
Keeping our school grounds clean is a shared responsibility and an important reflection of our school values. Recently, we have noticed an increase in rubbish being left in the yard. While this may seem small, it impacts the pride we take in our environment and the respect we show to one another.
By taking a moment to place rubbish in the bin, we demonstrate responsibility and respect for our school community. Looking after our shared spaces also shows integrity and care, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a clean and welcoming environment.
We encourage all students to take ownership of their surroundings and support one another in keeping our school clean. Small actions make a big difference, and together we can continue to uphold the values that make our school a positive place to learn and grow.
