PA AGM

Welcome back to another year of events and fun for families at CSPS. The Parents Association is looking forward to seeing lots of you at our Annual General Meeting next Wednesday, 4th March. We will meet at 7:30pm in the SLC, and we encourage you to attend, even if you would just like to hear what events are scheduled.

A key element of this meeting is to establish leads, or a groups of people, who will take ownership of one event during the year. You don't need any kind of experience to run our events - there is lots of help from Mel and Steph throughout the year.

Events that need a lead in 2026 are:

Icy pole day (Thursday 2 April and Thursday 17 December)
Mother's Day Breakfast (Friday 8 May)
Mother's Day Lunch (Friday 8 May)
Bagel Day (Friday 26 June)
Parents' Night (date and event type TBC)
Father's Day Breakfast (Friday 4 September)
State Election BBQ (Saturday 28 November)
Twilight Picnic (Thursday 10 December)

We are so lucky at CSPS to have a group of dedicated people who step up and run these events, but as always, people leave our school and we need new people to fill the gaps. If we do not get a lead or group to take ownership of an event, unfortunately this means that we will not be able to run it in 2026.

Welcome Picnic

We had a lovely evening on the oval last night. It was great to see our families enjoying time outdoors and meeting new people. Thank you to everyone who attended, and for staying 'Waste Free'.
