Year 2 Dinner & Disco

On the 4th of September, on a Friday night after school, the Grade 2’s had a groovy Dinner and Disco!

They came dressed in their best party clothes and brought their best dance moves to the floor. They started with some party games in the blue building where their classrooms were turned into a colourful, lit up dance space. They played musical freeze, the dice game and limbo. Some students even won prizes!

They limboed their way to the next exciting location to where they ate pizza for dinner. The kids enjoyed their seconds and thirds and for dessert, got to enjoy Zooper Doopers.

Their full tummies did not stop them from making their way to where the real fun began in the hall. We had party hosts that blew us away with some of our favourite songs and played some of our favourite games.

Not only did we get to party, we also got to celebrate our Principle, Rachel’s birthday! What a lucky way to spend her birthday!

They had face paint, bubbles and disco lights. We danced the night away and don’t you worry… the teachers were busting a move too! We had a night we will never forget!
