Yr 4 Avila Experience

St. Leonard's Year 4 girls were lucky enough to be invited to Avila College for a Creative Minds day. The day was led by Avila Ambassadors, including past students from St. Leonard's. Imaginative writing, making keychains, creating and viewing art work were some of the activities that were completed. A huge thank you to Avila College for inviting the students. Here are some thoughts from the girls about the day.

The year 4 girls' excursion to Avila was awesome! We made key-chains, we did some narrative writing, we did some patterns, and saw their art show! My favourite activity was making the key chains. My favourite piece of art at their art show was the main art which was with this boy spray painting on a wall.

We saw the new St Teresa library and also got to make key chains. We were allowed to eat where the year 11 and 12s work. One special thing we got to see was their art. It was amazing!

On our Avila experience day, we visited their St Teresa library. In the library we made keychains out of beads. We also had a look at Avila's art show, it was really cool! I had so much fun and want to go back.

While at Avila the year 4 girls had so much fun! When we arrived we were welcomed by kind and enthusiastic girls. Personally, my favourite activity was making such colourful keyrings. We also got to make our own story, but it wasn't any ordinary story, it was a captivating story. Lastly, we went out for lunch and we also got to play with all the ambassadors. There were so many more fun things, but these were my favourites.
