Red House Captains' Message

Dear Students, Parents,

We are proud to introduce ourselves as your Red House Captains for this school year, Ollie and Milana. It is a privilege to lead the Red House community, and we are excited to contribute to this week's newsletter.

For one of the major events of the school's communities. School camp was an incredible experience for everyone involved. It provided a wonderful opportunity for students to step outside their comfort zones, build new friendships, and develop invaluable leadership and teamwork skills. Looking back, the highlight for many was seeing our year 5/6 students support one another through every challenge, displaying excellent spirit.

My absolute favorite activity was the flying fox because it allowed me to experience something completely new. I also loved it because it offered a stunning, bird's-eye view of the beautiful lake where we went canoeing. Beyond the daytime activities, a major highlight for me was getting the opportunity to share a cabin with all of my friends, which made the evenings just as memorable.

Looking back, the ultimate highlight of the entire trip was how everyone stepped out of their comfort zones to try different activities. Even when we felt scared or intimidated by a challenge, we still pushed ourselves and gave it our best shot. To top it all off, the food we were served at camp was absolutely amazing! It was an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, laughter, and personal growth.

Camp Rumbug 2026: Mission Accomplished!

For CAMP we did a bunch of activities such as raft building , canoeing, bushcraft, flying fox, giant swing, Mudrun and Teamwork Challenges. My Favourite activity was the Flying fox because I got to experience something that was new to me. I also liked it because you can see a great view of the lake where we do canoeing. I also loved how we could have the opportunity to share a great cabin with all my friends. My highlight of Camp was that we got the opportunity to try different activities , and we could have a go at everything even if we were scared to do some activities we still gave it a try. I loved the food that we were given at CAMP, it was so good!!!!

The Best Week Ever: Year 6 Takes On Camp Rumbug!

Overall I was keen on leaving home to be with my friends. I have been looking forward to this camp all year and the day has come. For months, the halls at school were filled with talk about our upcoming adventure, and the excitement . What I was looking forward to was being with all my friends and the absolute best part was finding my cabins if someone got one of their friends they would erupt. It was a highlight of my camp. I was looking forward to the activities at camp rumbug because there were so many fun ones such as mud run, flying fox and giant swing. The mud run was the whole talk about at school before we went to camp and hyped it up.

Another thing we were all thinking about was the bus ride and all the chaos. It was the most memorable moment ever.
