Principal Report
Mr. Lehane
We currently have several vacant parent positions on our School Council and would love to see more families involved! School Council plays an important role in overseeing school decisions and general governance. It involves attending just two meetings after school each term.
If you’re interested in joining, please speak with Mr. Lehane and/or collect a nomination form from the front office. Positions will be finalised at our AGM on Wednesday, 19th March at 4.00 pm.
Your voice and input can make a real difference – we hope to see you there!
With NAPLAN coming up soon, I want to remind everyone not to worry. NAPLAN is just a snapshot of your learning at a single moment in time — it doesn’t define you as a student or a person, and it’s certainly not something you can fail.
The purpose of NAPLAN is to help us understand your strengths and identify areas where we can support your growth. It’s one of many tools we use to guide your learning journey.
Feeling a little nervous is completely normal, but there’s no need to stress. Just take a deep breath, stay calm, and do your best — that’s all we ask. And remember, if you need help or reassurance, we’re always here to support you.
For dates please see our "Important Dates" page
You’ve got this, and we’re proud of you no matter what!
It is with sadness that I share the news that our Chinese teacher, Miss Chen, will be finishing at the end of this term. She has accepted an exciting new position in Melbourne, and while we are sorry to see her go, we wish her all the very best in this next chapter of her career.
Over the coming weeks, I will be making arrangements to ensure our language program continues for the remainder of the year.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
This week, we were lucky to have Amaya's Pop, Phillip, complete more stunning furniture restoration on some of our old school desks. They look absolutely amazing and have brought new life to these classic pieces! A big thank you also to Kate for her finishing touches, adding the school logo to the desks and making them truly special.
We are so grateful for the time and care put into these projects – they look fantastic and will be enjoyed by our students for years to come!

However, if anyone has changed their mind and do not wish to receive a fluoride varnish application, they can contact Bendigo Health directly to let them know.
