SA Power Works Scheduled - Monday 17th November
We’ve been advised by SA Power Networks that works will be taking place at the end of our driveway near Hillary Crescent on Monday, 17th November from 9:30am.
These works were previously postponed after discussions around minimising disruption to Kiss and Drop traffic. During this rescheduled time, there will be periods when vehicles may need to stop exiting the driveway while work is completed overhead.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as this important maintenance is carried out safely.
Scholastic Book Fair - Next Week!
When: Monday 3rd November – Friday 7th November
- Invitations have been sent home today, and excitement is building…
- The Book Fair will be open to parents from 8.30am to 9am and 3pm to 3.30pm each day.
- Opportunities for browsing and purchasing will be available to students during school time.
- A percentage of sales will benefit the school, through Scholastic resources for the library.

Payment options include:
- Pre-payment - online details on the back of the student wish list. A receipt number must be recorded for students to collect their items.
- EFTPOS
- Cash.
Students can bring cash to purchase items if parents are unable to visit in person.
Please note: Some items sell out very quickly - some books can be ordered in for you, however stationery items, wacky packs, $5 books, Christmas books, and posters cannot.
Payments will not be received at the Front Office or over the phone.

Dad's Night
Well as we quickly start to round out this year, what a better way than to come together as a GSPV Dad's group gathering! It's great way to reflect on the year that has been and to continue to build on GSPV friendships. If you haven't seen the new school playground then come and have a look while we share in a BBQ and a few quite drinks.

Time: 6:30pm -9:30pm ish
Location: GSPV school oval.
What to bring: BYO BBQ meat and Drinks (beers etc are ok)

Lutheran Care 12 Days of Giving
We are looking for:
Tomorrow - Cup/packs of Instant Nood
Monday - Packs of Pasta
Wednesday - Jars of Pasta Sauce
Friday - Hot Drink Items
The families and students of Good Shepherd have always been generous at Christmas time in supporting the Lutheran Care Christmas Hampers. Lutheran Care’s Emergency Relief teams have shared which items their pantries are running low on and what is helpful for families in need at Christmas time. You can find these items listed in the accompanying poster.
To get involved you are invited to find the items in your pantry or add an item to your shopping list, then send the donations to your child’s class on the day listed on the poster.
While Lutheran Care are listing 12 different items to be collected over the 12 Days of Giving, we understand that some families may not be able to stretch their budget this far and we are grateful for any donations you are able to give. We look forward to the front office being filled with Christmas Hamper donations.
Volunteer Training
We have many volunteer opportunities within our school for those interested in contributing to our vibrant community at Good Shepherd Lutheran School Para Vista, and your involvement is crucial in creating a nurturing environment for our students.
