JUNIOR/SENIOR CONCERT BAND PERFORMANCE RECAP

Our recent Junior and Senior Concert Band performance was a fantastic celebration of talent, teamwork, and musical growth.

The Junior Concert Band opened the evening with a thrilling program featuring “Pirates’ Revenge,” “Power Rock,” and the ever-popular “Star Wars.” Their energy and enthusiasm shone through every piece, impressing the audience with their confident playing and strong ensemble sound.

The Senior Concert Band followed with an exciting and varied set, performing “Isotopical,” “City Life,” “Polka a Poco,” and the dramatic “Attack of the Cyclops.” Each piece showcased a different musical style and allowed the students to demonstrate their skill, musical maturity, and expressive range. Throughout the concert, students in Senior Band took turns introducing each piece, sharing their thoughts and favourite moments, giving the audience a wonderful insight into their learning and performance experience. It was a fantastic evening that highlighted the hard work, dedication, and joy of making music together. Congratulations to all our talented band members, and thank you to Mr Abicare, Mr Beale and Ms Handley for organising the Performance, the Korumburra Lions Club for their continuous support and the Parents/ Carers who support the students with rehearsals and home and driving to morning rehearsals.
