Twilight Christmas Fair – Community Update
Dear St Kilian’s School Community,
We are excited to share that our Twilight Christmas Fair is coming up on Friday 20th November, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm!
The Parents and Friends Committee has been working hard behind the scenes to organise a fun-filled family evening for our school community. We are looking forward to bringing everyone together to celebrate the end of the year, enjoy some festive fun and create wonderful memories for our children and families.
There will be something for everyone to enjoy, including a sausage sizzle, market stall, free activities and live music! We hope to create a relaxed and enjoyable evening where families can come together, connect and celebrate our wonderful school community.
🎟️ Fair Tickets – Available Soon!
This year, we are introducing a new ticket system, with $10, $20 and $30 ticket options available to purchase soon through QKR.
Children will receive their purchased tickets before the event and can wear them on their wrist for easy access throughout the evening. For school-run paid stalls, such as the sausage sizzle, drinks and tattoo parlour, children's tickets will be hole-punched as payment when making a purchase.
We hope this makes purchasing items on the night simple and convenient for families. More information about purchasing tickets through QKR will be shared soon.
🙋♀️ Volunteers Needed!
To help make our Twilight Christmas Fair a success, we would love some extra hands on the night. An online volunteer sign up will soon be shared through our parent representative and classroom WhatsApp groups.
If you are able to volunteer even a small amount of your time, we would be incredibly grateful. Whether you can help set up, run a stall or assist with pack-up, every bit of support makes a difference and helps take some pressure off our small committee.
🎁 Donations and Community Support
We are also currently seeking donations from our school families and local businesses. Donations of prizes, goods, vouchers or other items that could contribute to our fair would be greatly appreciated. Every contribution, big or small, helps us create an enjoyable event for everyone.
Raffle donation baskets are now in each classroom. Can your class create the ultimate raffle prize? Get creative, work together, and see if your basket becomes the one everyone wants to win!
🎟️ Christmas Raffle Tickets
Raffle ticket books will be sent home with the eldest child in each family over the coming weeks. If you would like additional raffle books, these will also be available from the school office. We encourage everyone to get involved and support this fantastic fundraising opportunity!
Can you or your business help? We encourage families to reach out to local businesses, workplaces or anyone who may be willing to donate a prize or voucher. If you have something you would like to contribute, please get in touch with the St Kilian’s Parents and Friends Committee.
