The Franciscan Charism

Students will be able to explain the St Francis way of life, develop an appreciation for God’s creation and explore the relationship St Francis had with others including God, Clare, animals and his followers. 

Jesus Models Forgiveness

Students will identify and apply the four steps of reconciliation - admit responsibility, say sorry, receive forgiveness and make amends. They will recognise that Jesus proclaimed God’s forgiveness, healing and reconciliation. 

The message of Peace and Joy

In this unit, students will demonstrate an understanding of the story of Jesus’ birth and describe ways that they can foster the Christmas spirit of peace and joy in our world.
