Grade 2- Coal Creek

Grade 2s had a fantastic day at our Coal Creek excursion on Thursday. 

We travelled back in time to the 1890s where we ventured through an old style coal mining town, filled with different styles of houses, a general store and other important trades and business. The highlight (other than some very friendly mallard ducks) was the chance to experience a day in the life of school students with a visit to the local school. The Grade 2 students impressed us with their use of pen and ink pots with cursive writing and were reminded how lucky we are to have outlawed the
