Bike ED
On Friday, the 28th of November, our Grade 5 and 6 students participated in Bike Ed. They had a fantastic day riding around the streets of Dingley and through Braeside Park.A big thank you to Kylie, Sandy, and Isaac for helping out—your kindness and support never go unnoticed.
District Swimming
As the year comes to an end, it’s time to start looking ahead to 2026. District Swimming is just around the corner, and all students in Grades 3–6 are welcome to try out in February. I encourage everyone to begin practising swimming 50 metres in any stroke over the holidays to prepare for the tryouts.
Get Ready! Aerobics 2026 Is Coming!
We’re excited to introduce FISAF Aerobics at St Marks for 2026, inviting all 2025 Grade 4 and Grade 5 students to take part in our trial and audition process for the 2026 Aerobics Team.
Our trial session will be held this Friday, 12th December, followed by formal auditions in Weeks 1 and 2 of Term 1. The final team will be selected after the audition process.
Training sessions will run on Thursday lunchtimes throughout 2026. There are four competitions during the year, including Regionals and States, with the possibility of qualifying for Nationals on the Gold Coast.
All important information will be provided to interested students after Friday’s session.
If you love music, movement, teamwork, and a bit of sparkle, this is your chance to experience what FISAF aerobics is all about. It’s a fantastic opportunity to be part of St Marks’ competition team and proudly represent our school.
Come along, learn some fun moves, meet the coaches, and discover how you can join an energetic, supportive, and exciting team next year!

Equipment:
Please ensure that if your child is bringing their own sports equipment to school, it is clearly labeled with their name.
Sports Uniform:
Over the next couple of years we will be phasing out the solid green sports polos and only having one sports top for all levels. The sports top that all students will wear is the polo top with the St Mark's lion on it, that the 5/6 students currently wear for interschool sport. We were finding that for some sporting events the 3/4 children also needed to wear the "interschool sport top" and they did not have it and it is also an additional expense for our Year 5/6 families that is not necessary - one sport top is plenty. Both the current green sports polos and the St Mark's lion sports polo are acceptable wear for PE days for all students. Year 5/6 students are still required to wear the St Mark's lion interschool sports top on interschool sport days. Once we are further underway with the roll out of the new sports top we will set a date where students can no longer wear the green polo - but that will be quite some time away so please do not worry.
