Year 11 Camp (15th–17th October)

Last week, our Year 11 students embarked on a memorable three-day camp filled with exciting experiences, personal challenges, team bonding, and even a few unexpected encounters with spiders! The camp offered students the opportunity to create lifelong memories and strengthen their connections with one another.

Year 11 2025 Max Potential Graduates

Over the past six months, four of our outstanding year 11 students — Jude Hasham, Gabriella Massoud, Chris Saba, and Chloe Rehbane — have taken part in the Max Potential Program, a transformative personal leadership development experience that connects young leaders (aged 16–21) with inspiring mentors from across the community.

Through dedication, creativity, and a commitment to growth, these students have developed unique community service projects that reflect their passions and values. Their hard work has not only shaped their leadership skills but also made a meaningful impact on those around them.

🎉 On Wednesday, 22nd October, accompanied by our College Executive Principal Sr Margaret Ghosn and their Leader of Wellbeing Mrs J Ishak, the College proudly celebrated and congratulated these students for successfully completing the program. Their journey is a testament to what is possible when potential meets purpose. 💪✨

We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the way they’ve embraced the challenge to grow as leaders.

Mock Trial win

Congratulations to the MCHF Mock Trial Team for their incredible victory in the Semi Finals today against The Ponds! Acting as the prosecution in a challenging criminal case involving the unlawful access of restricted exam files, our team delivered a compelling performance that led to a guilty verdict for the defendant.

This win marks a historic achievement — it’s the first time in the College’s history that we have advanced to the Grand Finals in a competition involving over 150 schools across NSW! Even more impressively, our team remains undefeated, winning all seven cases this year.

Their success is a testament to their outstanding preparation, critical thinking, teamwork, confidence, eloquence, and persuasive advocacy — the very qualities that make an exceptional barrister.

We couldn’t be prouder of our talented team. Now, with eyes set on the Grand Final on Tuesday, 2nd December, we eagerly await the results of the other semi-final to see which school we’ll be facing.

Well done, MCHF — making history one case at a time

Student Representative Council hosted a very popular Ice Cream Day fundraiser! Students enjoyed a sweet treat while supporting a great cause, with all funds raised going toward future school projects that benefit our College community. A big thank you to our SRC members for their hard work in organising the event, and to everyone who supported the day—it was a huge success!
