Congratulations to Olivia Bechara from Year 12!

We’re thrilled to announce that Olivia Bechara has qualified for the National Title in Physie! This prestigious competition brings together the top athletes from across the country to compete for the championship. Physie is a unique sport that combines elements of dance, gymnastics, and ballet for girls and women. Olivia achieved an incredible 3rd place in last year’s Championships, and we wish her the very best of luck as she competes again this year.
All the best, Olivia — we’re so proud of you!
Kindergarten has been gaining new swimming abilities at their lessons, We wish them all a safe and fun experience!

We extend our warm congratulations to the NSWRL Under 18’s Cedar team on their outstanding achievement in winning the 2025 Harmony Cup.
We are especially proud to acknowledge Michael Khoury, a Year 12 student at our school, who was selected to represent the team. Michael has demonstrated exceptional commitment in balancing the demands of his HSC examinations alongside his responsibilities as a Representative Rugby League player.

The MCHF Inter Boys 5-a-Side represented the College with immense pride as they made history in being the College's first side in the sport to qualify for Division 1 (Pool A) of the PDSSSC 5-a-side representative competition, finishing in the high of 3rd in their group overall.
As the boys reached the playoffs, they displayed great skill and determination while doing the College proud with their never give up attitude and fighting spirit right until the very end.
With the creative skills of Jason Azar and Anthony Mekary on display, the attacking force of Andrew Taouk, Gabriel Deeb, Mykal Abdou and Daniel Azzi and the solid defending of Elias Chalhoub, Imad Bayeh and Theo Bou Harb, the Inters produced some fantastic goals and great score lines though creative interplay and working together as a unit. The boys did the College proud in their great display of their passion and skill for the world game.

Commiserations to our Under 16’s Boys Rugby League Team
The boys were gallant in defeat going down 16–14 in the Parramatta Eels Cup Grand Final after a penalty goal on the final siren. They showed incredible courage, determination, and teamwork fighting for one another right to the very end against a much bigger opposition.
We are extremely proud of the way the MCHF boys represented the College with pride and passion.
A big thank you to all our supporters and to everyone who contributed over the four days of competition. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!
We go again in 2026 and reclaim our trophy!
Congratulations to our Junior Boys Soccer 5s team for making college history by qualifying for the Division 2 semi-finals after an outstanding performance in the competition.
Under the leadership of captains Christian Barakat and Jonathan Dib, the team displayed exceptional skill and teamwork, going undefeated and finishing at the top of their pool.
Joseph Layoun was outstanding in goal with Jan Shalhoub, Elyas Abeed, Julian Azar, Dylan Darjani, Jean Naoum, and Tony and Pietro Hanna all performing at their best throughout the tournament.

Despite a hard-fought effort, the boys narrowly missed out in the semi-final against St John Paul II, falling 3-1 in a closely contested match.
The future of football is looking bright at MCHF!
Congratulations, gentlemen - you have made us all proud!
