All Saints Day

In the upcoming week, the Catholic Church will celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints. Saints are people who did ordinary things extraordinarily well. The saints followed the Word of God in all they did, and they lived out the commandment of Jesus - to love God and love others.

May we be inspired by the example and support of the saints to deepen our relationship with God and to strive for holiness in our own lives.

Let us pray

Almighty ever-living God,

by whose gift we venerate in one celebration 

the merits of all the Saints,

bestow on us, we pray,

through the prayers of so many intercessors,

an abundance of the reconciliation with you

for which we earnestly long.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,

who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

God, for ever and ever.
