March 20th was Bee Week with library visitors learning about the important role bees play in our environment. From pollinating plants to helping grow the food we eat, bees are tiny creatures that make a big difference!
This Wednesday was National Simultaneous Storytime! This exciting annual event brings children across Australia together to share the joy of reading at the same time. Luna Roo by Adam Jackson is these years featured book. A book about bush soccer and the animal world cup.
This week the library acknowledges and celebrates National Reconciliation Week, an important time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, with engaging stories, discussions, and activities that promote respect, understanding, and connection with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures.
