Conference 2 Athletics Championships

On Monday 4th August (Term 3, Week 3) 28 students will be representing our school at the Conference 2 Athletics Championships at Sydney Olympic Athletics Centre. These students will be competing in both track and field events against other schools. We wish them the best of luck!

ZING Dance Program

The ZING Dance Program will be commencing on Friday 1st August for all grades throughout term 3.

Please see the following program overview from ZING Activ:

The Dance Program is a dynamic and engaging program . It introduces students to a wide range of dance styles including those from diverse cultural groups, while promoting creativity, confidence, and collaboration. The program explores the elements of dance, engaging students in individual, partner, and group activities that develop social and interpersonal skills, foster respect and etiquette, and inspire creative expression. With an emphasis on fundamental movement skills and improvisation, students are empowered to create their own dance sequences in response to various stimuli and ideas. Additionally, the program integrates AUSLAN (Australian Sign Language), offering students the opportunity to communicate through movement, fostering inclusivity and a deeper understanding of the Deaf community.

We are looking forward to seeing our students develop their movement skills and keeping active throughout this program.

Interschool Sport

Interschool sport provides an opportunity for all students, no matter their ability, to regularly compete against other Sydney Catholic Schools in a fun, active and friendly environment. There are two of these events occurring this term which will require parent volunteers to assist with managing a team. If you are able to assist at these events, please indicate this when the Compass permission forms are sent out.

  • Stage 2 Interschool Sport - Soccer: Tuesday 9th September (Week 8)
  • Stage 3 Interschool Sport - Netball:  Tuesday 16th September (Week 9)

Thank you for your continued support of sport,
