Diocesan Athletics

Last Wednesday, a group of our students travelled to Tamworth to compete in the Diocesan Athletics Carnival. Blessed with fine weather, everyone enjoyed a fantastic day of competition alongside representatives from Catholic Primary Schools across the Diocese of Armidale.

Beyond their great sportsmanship and strong performances, St Michael’s students excelled in their behaviour and represented our school with immense pride. Thank you to the many family members and friends who came along to cheer our athletes on. 

Well done to everyone involved!

Annual School Survey – We Value Your Voice!

It’s that time of year again! On Monday August 24, families will receive an email invite to participate in our annual School Survey.

Every year, we gather feedback from our staff, families and the students in Years 4–6. This information is vital to us—we directly use the insights to shape our school's future goals and annual improvement plans.

Your perspective truly matters and I deeply appreciate the time you take to share your thoughts. Please keep an eye on your inbox on August 24! The survey will remain open until Wednesday, September 2.

I am so proud to see the care and pride our students are taking in their daily presentation. Wearing our school uniform with pride is a wonderful way to reflect our positive, united school culture.

To help keep our community looking sharp, here is a quick reminder of our daily requirements:

• Footwear: Plain black shoes are required on Mondays, Wednesdays,andThursdays.
• Winter Uniform: Ties must be worn throughout the Winter Uniform months.

Thank you for your ongoing support in helping our students look and feel their best each day! Remember, we have an extensive range of quailty, preloved uniform items available.

Get Ready to Shine at the Annual School Disco!

It’s time to light up the night! We are thrilled to invite all families to this year’s Annual School Disco. Get your brightest outfits ready and prepare to glow!

• When: Thursday, 17 September
• Theme: GLOW! (Think neon colours, glow sticks and bright accessories)

More details will be shared soon, but for now—mark your calendars and get ready to dance. A massive thank you to our wonderful P&F for coordinating such a fantastic event!
