Can’t believe we’re halfway through Term 2 already!
Grade 2
My Grade 2 dancing superstars have been showcasing some excellent dance skills and passion as we lay down the final touches on our year level dance. They are bursting at the seams, ready to perform and by early next week, I will have a date chosen for the 2’s to showcase this fun, energetic dance!
Grade 3 / 4
We are continuing to feel the rhythm of dance in these two year levels also, with the 3’s and 4’s highlighting some epic grapevines, twirls and heel and toe moves! We have two dances across the 5 classes, both Western themed, and both dances will have everyone itching to join in! These two dances will also be showcased in the same assembly as the Grade 2’s, so more information to come as to when that will be!
Grade 5 / 6
The senior students are heavily in production preparation now, with each class busily learning their song and dance, to get ready for the stage in August. The cast are beyond busy learning their lines and scenes, and the entire show is really coming along now! I’m so proud of these main speaking role students, their talent and commitment is next level! Our arrival to the Emerald City will be here before we know it!
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend,
Ms Jedrys

Senior Visual Arts
We have been busy weaving, sewing and embellishing our textile art pieces this week. It has been absolutely amazing to see students using a Growth Mindset to have a go at these skills that are completely new to some. The creativity is definitely being unleashed as well!

A BIG thank you to all of our amazing parent helpers for ensuring the day ran to time and was a success.
The House Cup will be announced in a couple of weeks at the school assembly.
The District Athletics team will be officially announced in a couple of weeks, after the completion of our shotput and discus trials at school.
