Congratulations and thank you to all involved in this year’s Learn to Swim program, one of the most successful so far.
The children enjoyed themselves and steadily improved their swimming abilities while developing greater water safety awareness and knowledge.
The pool staff noted how well the students participated and how polite they were during their lessons — a great effort by all students. I believe most students progressed to the next level, and in the coming weeks they will receive a certificate for their achievements. Thankfully, the pool staff also mentioned they are happy to allow students to progress at their own pace. Therefore, not all students moved up to the next level, and some will not receive a certificate this time.
It was very pleasing to see the students’ participation and engagement during these lessons. I have included some pictures showing what they learned — from stroke development to survival skills and water safety knowledge.
If you have any questions about the swimming program or any other PE-related lessons or your child’s sporting opportunities, please reach out — I’m happy to help.
Thank you, and all the best,
Heath Morris
