Mock Job Interviews

Our Year 10 and VCE Unit 2 VCE Vocational Major (VM) students recently participated in a series of mock job interviews. Students should be commended for their impressive preparation, arriving with professional resumes, cover letters, and well-considered responses to interview questions.

The experience provided valuable insight into the job application and interview process, particularly as our Year 10 students prepare to undertake Work Experience during the first week of next term. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to build confidence, develop employability skills, and receive feedback from industry professionals.

A huge thank you to our industry representatives who generously volunteered their time to serve as interview panel members: Tim Rantall, Shelli Rantall, Shane Monaghan, Jacob Rhodes, and Nick Sinnott. Their support and expertise made this experience both authentic and meaningful for our students.

I would also like to acknowledge our wonderful administration team and Olivia Schuuring for their assistance in ensuring the day ran smoothly. Their support behind the scenes was greatly appreciated.
