Last Friday night, a vocal St Catherine’s crowd showed up to support the girls in an epic showdown against Star of the Sea College.

The match was everything a Grand Final should be; intense, physical, and highly pressured. Our girls stunned Star early with an eight-goal run and were able to protect their lead for much of the game.

Our historic success came down to composure under pressure, unshakeable teamwork, and courageous defence. A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support the girls, and the highest praise to our historic champions. We are very proud!

Our STC Club divisions wrapped up their seasons with remarkable campaigns, showing heart, resilience and skill across the board.

Congratulations to our Grand Finalists:

  • Junior+ Division One, STC Flames: Premiers. Won 26 – 22
  • Junior+ Division Two, STC Suns: Runners-Up. Lost 32 – 33 (going down in a thriller!)
