Intermediate Boys Soccer - Regional Runners up:
After a dominate group stage display topping the ladder the boys could not get over the final hurdle in the Regional final. Some amazing football on display and an incredibly talented group that will go again in 2025!
Senior Girls Soccer State Finalists:
The day before the state finals we were invited to play as a team from another region had pulled out. We managed to get a team together with the help of some year 8 and year 9 students. Despite this, the girls dominated the first game against Balwyn HS (Eventual runners up) but could not score ending in 0-0, a convincing 2-1 win against Warragul and last-minute loss to Williamstown 2-1 saw us finish 4th overall ! Goals from Annica Gallagher, Odette Rosza and JB Lysk as well as an enormous goalkeeping display from Tilda Sinclair were some of the many highlights. An outstanding effort against the odds and missing a few key players. Extremely proud of this group, a bright future ahead for the girls football (soccer) at PHSC !
Regional Athletics:
Sylvie Collie is the girls 12-13 Regional Champion breaking the regional record for the 80m Hurdles, Sylvie also finished 3rd in the 100 and 200m. Violet Avotins and Sam Wilson both runners up in the 1500m in their respective age groups. All three have qualified for the State Athletics Championships in term 4, a huge achievement ! A great turn out for the whole team at the NMR Athletics well done to all our amazing athletes !
