All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.
Good afternoon families,
Welcome back to Term 4 and rather a wet start to the week. It has been such a lovely buzz around the school and we are all excited to be back for the last term of 2023.
I feel very blessed to have completed the last part of the Camino and the time it gave me to pray and reflect. Thank you to Mrs Michelle Barron and Mrs Tanya Stefanec for keeping the school running so well in my absence.
We said goodbye to Mrs Mel Quigley yesterday as she has accepted a position at Sacred Heart College Oakleigh. We will miss Mel's bright, smiling face in the office and wish her the very best in her new position.
Consideration for class placement for 2024.
If you have any extenuating circumstances that you would like to be considered in placing your child in a particular class for 2024, please put your request in an email to me:- cstutterd@stlouisaspendale.com
Please do not request a particular teacher. Requests will be closed on Friday 20 October.
Prep Orientation for 2024 Students
Orientation for Prep 2024 students is on Tuesday 10 October at 1.30pm. Parents are invited to afternoon tea in the Garden with me.
Confirmation
Please keep our Year 6 students in your prayers as they receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on Thursday 12 October. Bishop Tony Ireland will confirm the year 6 students at St Brigid's Mordialloc.
PFA
We have a Parents and Friends meeting on Tuesday 10 October in the Boardroom at 7 pm. Everyone is welcome.
School Advisory Council (SAC)
We have a SAC meeting on Thursday 19 October at 7 pm. If you have any ideas/ thoughts/ issues that need to be discussed at this meeting, please email the office and it will be forwarded to our chairperson Mr Bill Tabourlos.
St Louis' Art Show Tuesday 24 and Thursday 26 October 2023
You are all invited to St Louis' Art Show on Tuesday 24 and Thursday 26 October.
The students have been preparing for the Art Show all year. Students have prepared art from their classroom and their visual art lessons.
Tuesday 24 October at 4.30 - 6.30pm with the Offical opening at 5 pm in the hall.
Thursday 3.30- 5.30pm is also opened for parents to view the student's art work.
