Grand Final fever is here!
This week and weekend mark the culmination of our winter sports seasons, with many Griffins teams earning their place in grand finals. Congratulations to all teams competing this weekend, and an even bigger congratulations to every player, coach, team manager, volunteer and supporter who has contributed to another fantastic season. Your commitment, effort and enthusiasm are what make our club such a special community.
We encourage everyone to get down and support our teams, cheer loudly and proudly, and remember that great sportsmanship is one of the values we strive to uphold. Win, lose or draw, take the opportunity to enjoy the experience and celebrate the achievements of all involved.
We also look forward to celebrating the season together at the Netball, Soccer and Hockey wind-ups this Sunday 20 September 2026, followed by the Volleyball wind-up on 1 November, 2026.

Griffins Basketball
All players will receive an email this week containing their team information. You will also be notified if your team is still seeking a Coach or Team Manager.
While many volunteer roles have already been filled, we are still looking for a few more people to help support our teams. Please consider volunteering your time or speak with friends or family members who may be willing to assist. It's a great way to support your child's team, contribute to the Griffins, and be part of our fantastic sporting community.
We have only a few days to fill these roles, so if you can help, please contact registrar@griffins.org.au as soon as possible.
Griffins Merchandise and Uniforms
Players can order the Griffins training gear and supporter merchandise from the Griffins site Shop - Great Southern Griffins. A range of hoodies, tops, pants and accessories are available to buy. There are limited stocks of hoodies, but more will be added at the end of the month.
