Our Year 6 camp to Alexandra Adventure Resort was an awesome experience that we will never forget. From the moment we arrived, we were busy with nonstop activities like the flying fox, canoeing, and orienteering. We even tried raft building and the low ropes, which really tested our teamwork.

Our absolute favourite part was definitely the GAGA ball. It was such a fun activity where our whole cohort played together. It got really competitive, and we made so many great memories laughing and playing around the pit. Another highlight was the high ropes. As the name suggests, it is very high up! It gave us a massive adrenaline rush, and it took a lot of courage and bravery to finish the course while balanced on a harness.

When we weren't busy with activities, we were eating! We had a huge variety, including baked potatoes, pasta, curry, burgers, and chicken. Breakfast was the best because we had pancakes, hash browns, toast, and cereal. They also kept us full with morning and afternoon tea, which was usually fresh fruit or cake.

This camp taught us that we are much braver than we thought. We’re going to miss the excitement of Alexandra Adventure Resort, but we’re glad we got to face our fears together!
